Puzzles

I am a puzzle lover. I used to devour print puzzle books, newspaper puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, etc. These days, my puzzle solving is mostly done online. I am big fan of “hidden object” quest games which often have very intricate puzzles within. I also adore word puzzles, and have made a few at different times to share with staff in the Monroe County Library System. A few of those are shown below to get you started. I’ll be adding more…

My favorite – the New York Times games page – https://www.nytimes.com/crosswords. My favorites are Wordle, Connections and LetterBoxed.

Here’s a fun and challenging word game based on passages from various books: Wrodeo – https://wrodeo.com/

Guess the Book From It’s Catalog Card – This puzzle from BookRiot might not mean anything to generations who haven’t used a card catalog! https://bookriot.com/quiz-guess-books-catalog-cards/

While not technically a literature-based puzzle, this one is a lot of fun. Virgin Records produced this image containing 74 bands. Can you find them all?
